Happy Friday, everyone!!
Let’s be real for a moment. How many times have you had something totally planned out and organized, only for it to go downhill? Ya know, that thing that was already mapped out in your mind and definitely going to happen.
If you’re an organized, type-A, perfectionist like me, it’s probably happened, a lot. It happens to everyone.
In a world that tells us we should have our lives all figured out, it’s incredibly easy to feel lost when things don’t go the way we planned. But this life is not our plan, it’s His.
When we tell ourselves, “I’ve got this,” it’s really easy to forget that we don’t actually “got” anything. God does. Which is a wonderful truth to rest in.
We are so lucky that every day is a fresh start. Another chance. When our little plans are ruined, we can remember that there’s a way bigger, perfect plan for our lives. And we don’t even have to stress about making it! It’s already made.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
As you may or may not have noticed, I took a pretty long break from blogging because college will always be my number one priority. And this fall semester has gone every way except the way I planned it. But, I love blogging and missed it dearly, so I’m back!! But this time, with God!
